2. Scope of Service

We provide rubbish removal and waste collection services, including but not limited to household waste, office waste, bulky items, garden waste, and general non-hazardous materials. The exact scope of each Service will be agreed at the time of Booking or on arrival at the site.

Our Service typically includes loading of Waste from accessible locations on your property, transportation, and disposal at a licensed facility. We reserve the right to refuse to remove any items that we reasonably believe to be hazardous, illegal, unsafe, or outside the agreed scope.

3. Booking Process

You may book a service by contacting us via phone, email, or through our online enquiry methods. When you make a Booking request, you will be asked to provide information about the type and approximate quantity of Waste, access conditions, and your preferred date and time.

Any quotation provided at the time of the Booking request is based on the information you give us. It is your responsibility to ensure that all details are accurate and complete. If the actual Waste or access conditions differ from what was described, the price and timing of the Service may change.

A Booking is only confirmed once we have accepted it and provided you with confirmation. We reserve the right to decline any Booking request at our discretion.

4. Pricing and Quotations

Our prices are generally based on the volume and type of Waste, labour required, access conditions, and any additional services requested. We may provide an indicative price range in advance, followed by a final price on site once we have inspected the Waste.

Unless we have agreed a fixed price in writing before arrival, any verbal or email quotation is an estimate only and is not binding until confirmed on site. If you decide not to proceed after we provide a final on-site price, we reserve the right to charge a call-out or attendance fee to cover our costs.

All prices are quoted in pounds sterling and may be subject to applicable taxes where required by law. We may update our pricing from time to time without prior notice, but changes will not affect Bookings that have already been confirmed with a fixed price.

5. Payments

Payment is due on completion of the Service, unless we have agreed alternative payment terms with you in advance. We accept common payment methods such as cash, debit or credit card, or bank transfer, subject to availability at the time of Service.

For commercial customers or repeat clients, we may agree invoice terms. Any invoices must be paid within the period stated on the invoice. If no period is specified, payment is due within 7 days of the invoice date.

If payment is not received when due, we reserve the right to charge interest on the overdue sum at the statutory rate and to recover any reasonable costs incurred in pursuing payment, including administrative and legal costs. We may also suspend or cancel future Services until all outstanding sums have been paid.

6. Access and Customer Responsibilities

You must ensure that we have safe, reasonable, and lawful access to the Waste at the agreed time. This includes providing any keys, access codes, parking permissions, or entry instructions necessary for us to carry out the Service.

You are responsible for obtaining any permissions, consents, or permits required from property owners, neighbours, building managers, or local authorities. If we are unable to access the site or Waste due to a failure to obtain such permissions, this may be treated as a late cancellation and a fee may apply.

You must ensure that the area where we will be working is safe, and that any known risks are disclosed to us in advance. We reserve the right to withdraw our team or equipment from any situation where we consider there to be a risk to health and safety, and any resulting delay or non-completion may be chargeable.

7. Cancellations and Changes

You may cancel or amend your Booking by contacting us as soon as possible. We kindly request at least 24 hours notice for cancellations or significant changes to avoid cancellation charges.

If you cancel less than 24 hours before the agreed arrival time, or if we arrive on site and are unable to carry out the Service due to your act or omission, we may charge a reasonable cancellation or attendance fee to cover our costs.

We will use reasonable efforts to arrive at the agreed time, but times are estimates only and may be affected by traffic, weather, delays on previous jobs, or other circumstances beyond our control. If we need to cancel or reschedule, we will notify you as soon as reasonably possible and offer an alternative time. We will not be liable for any direct or indirect loss arising from such cancellation or rescheduling, except where required by law.

8. Waste Types and Prohibited Items

Our rubbish removal and waste collection services cover general non-hazardous waste. We do not normally accept hazardous waste such as asbestos, chemicals, solvents, medical waste, pressurised containers, gas bottles, fuel, oils, paint in liquid form, or any other substance that is regulated as hazardous under UK law.

If you present Waste that is hazardous, contaminated, or illegal, we may refuse to remove it, and a charge may apply for attendance. If hazardous or prohibited items are mixed with general Waste and not disclosed to us, you may be liable for any additional costs, fines, or penalties that arise from their handling, transport, or disposal.

You confirm that the Waste you ask us to remove belongs to you or that you have full authority from the owner to dispose of it. You agree to indemnify us against any claim from a third party alleging that the disposal was unauthorised.

9. Waste Handling, Transport, and Disposal

We are committed to carrying out rubbish removal and waste collection in a lawful and responsible manner. All Waste collected by us will be transported and disposed of at a facility that is appropriately licensed or permitted in accordance with applicable UK waste regulations.

We will issue or retain any legally required documentation for the transfer of Waste, such as waste transfer notes, where applicable. We may record details of the Waste, collection date, and destination facility to comply with regulatory obligations.

We may, at our discretion, separate and divert certain materials for reuse or recycling in order to minimise the amount of Waste sent to landfill. Title to the Waste passes to us once we load it onto our vehicle, unless otherwise agreed in writing.

10. Customer Conduct and Site Condition

You agree to treat our staff with respect and not to engage in any abusive, threatening, or unlawful behaviour. We reserve the right to withdraw our team and terminate the Service if our staff are subjected to unacceptable conduct, and a fee may apply for any work completed up to that point.

We will take reasonable care when carrying out the Service, but you should protect or remove any items that may be vulnerable to accidental damage during the clearance, particularly in narrow access areas, stairways, and hallways. It is your responsibility to point out any fragile surfaces or items.

11. Liability and Limitations

We will exercise reasonable care and skill in providing the Service. If we damage your property through our negligence, we will repair the damage or compensate you to the extent reasonably required, subject to the limitations in this section.

We will not be liable for any loss or damage arising from inaccurate information provided by you, failure to provide adequate access, concealed defects or weaknesses at the property, or items left in or attached to Waste that you have asked us to remove.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we will not be liable for any indirect, consequential, or economic loss, including loss of profit, loss of business, or loss of opportunity. Our total liability for any claim arising out of or in connection with the Service will not exceed the total amount paid or payable by you for the specific Booking giving rise to the claim, except where liability cannot lawfully be limited.

Nothing in these Terms and Conditions limits or excludes liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or any other liability that cannot be excluded under UK law.

12. Insurance

We maintain appropriate insurance cover for our rubbish removal and waste collection operations, including public liability insurance. Details of our insurance can be made available upon reasonable request.

13. Force Majeure

We will not be responsible for any failure or delay in performing our obligations where such failure or delay results from events or circumstances beyond our reasonable control. This may include, but is not limited to, extreme weather, accidents, road closures, strikes, equipment failure not due to our negligence, fire, flood, or changes in law or regulation.

If a force majeure event occurs, we will notify you as soon as reasonably practicable and take reasonable steps to minimise the impact. We may suspend or reschedule the Service without liability, other than to refund any payment you have made for Services that we are unable to perform.

14. Complaints and Dispute Resolution

If you are dissatisfied with any aspect of our rubbish removal or waste collection Service, you should contact us as soon as possible with full details of your concern. We will investigate and aim to resolve the issue promptly and fairly.

In the event of a dispute that cannot be resolved directly between us, you may seek independent advice or assistance from a relevant advisory body. These Terms and Conditions do not affect any statutory rights you may have as a consumer under UK law.

15. Data Protection and Privacy

We will collect and use your personal information only as necessary to manage your Booking, provide the Service, process payments, and comply with legal obligations. We will keep your information secure and will not sell your details to third parties.

We may share information with trusted third-party providers such as payment processors or waste disposal facilities where this is necessary to deliver the Service or comply with regulations. We will retain your data for only as long as reasonably required for these purposes.

16. Variations to These Terms

We may update or amend these Terms and Conditions from time to time. The version in force at the time you make a Booking will apply to that Booking. Any material changes will normally be published on our main service information materials.

17. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

These Terms and Conditions, and any dispute or claim arising out of or in connection with them or the Service, shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales.

You and we agree that the courts of England and Wales will have exclusive jurisdiction to settle any dispute or claim arising out of or in connection with these Terms and Conditions or the provision of rubbish removal and waste collection services.
